- GroupM in association with Exchange4Media has released a report “Voicebox: Give your brand a voice”. Some of the highlights of the report include:
- There are 574 Mn active Internet users in India, 99% of which access the Internet through phones.
- There are about 500 Mn smartphones and 400 Mn feature phones in use in India.
- Voice search in 2020 has increased by 270% led by Hindi voice searches that witnessed a 400% growth.
- According to TAM’s latest report on Education sector advertising in India (Jan’21-Mar’21):
- The education sector witnessed significant growth in advertising volume on the TV (+23%)and digital (+91%) while print (-10%) and radio (-38%) witnessed de-growth as compared to the same period last year.
- The top 10 advertisers accounted for a 75% share of ad volumes.
- Think & Learn was the top advertiser.
- The top two TV channel genres accounting for more than 60% ad vol were News and Infotainment.
