- TAM released a new report “TAM Sports IPL 2020 Report”. According to the report:
- 8% growth registered in Avg. Ad volumes during 13th season of IPL compared to IPL 12
- During 22 days of IPL 13, ad volumes in the Sports genre spiked by nearly 3 times compared to 28th Aug- 18th Sep 2020
- 5 of the top 10 categories were E-commerce with a 35% share of IPL 13 advertising
- Fever FM launched a Progressive Web App- Fevernetwork.FM. The web app will give the listeners the chance to interact with the brand in real-time and get exclusive deals and prizes.
- BARC India will cease publishing the weekly individual ratings of all “news” channels. This exercise is being done to improve their statistical robustness.
- Warner Media International has decided to discontinue “HBO SD & HD” from India and Pakistan, and WB movie channels from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Maldives from December 15, 2020.
- Zee Entertainment has launched a Marathi music channel- Zee Vajwa.
- The average print ad volumes per day saw an increase of 5.7 times in August 2020 compared to the numbers in April 2020.
- Fever FM maintained the lead with the most listenership share in Mumbai and Delhi, while Radio City topped the charts in Bangalore and Radio Mirchi in Kolkata in week 32nd- 35th week- RAM Ratings.

- Free– Star Utsav, Zee Anmol, Sony Pal, Colors Rishtey, Dangal
